Cosy atmosphere

A well-established group dedicated to catering in service areas challenged us to create the visual identity and interior design for a series of establishments they planned to open throughout the country, where they would serve completely traditional food (nothing fancy), aimed primarily at transport professionals (who know a thing or two about this), but also appealing to occasional travellers and families.

It was important that, in addition to the traditional culinary offering, the premises exuded the cosy atmosphere of our homes. Something similar to when you go to eat at a village house and find a table with tablecloths and a brazier – hence the name.

We took a very direct approach, and our proposal focused on warm and welcoming materials, wood in furniture and ceilings, exposed brick and decoration based on photographs (like those you might find in any home) specific to the most typical features of the region where the restaurant was to be opened.
