A gastronomic experience
Inspired by the desire to offer a modern dining experience with touches of Granada, a venue has been created that embraces the traditional textures of the city through clay, wood and marble. Adding a warm touch that contrasts with the cooler elements, such as the bars and floors, wood is used in bespoke furniture, with mouldings and details that make them unique.
The main challenge of the project is to address the lack of natural lighting. The proposed solution is for the central U-shaped volume to take centre stage, reflecting and introducing light into the interior. This design not only solves the problem, but also transforms areas that might seem narrower, such as the entrance hallway, into spacious and bright spaces through the strategic use of mirrors.
In the difficult task of making decisions during the construction process, it was decided to preserve the original flooring discovered during the process, creating an interesting contrast between the beige terrazzo flooring that was removed from the premises at the time and a much more colourful classic hydraulic-style floor.
The range of greens enhances the connection between the interior and exterior, extending harmoniously across the woodwork and walls.
Aunque hay un diálogo permanente, sí que se pueden identificar tres zonas con identidades distintas, gracias a la elección de materiales, colores y mobiliario.
La zona de entrada y gran parte de la “U” central con presenta un ambiente desenfadado, perfecto para el tapeo rápido, todo ello con el diálogo del ladrillo y las pequeñas barras de mármol.
A la derecha, un rincón ambientado con carteles de eventos históricos de la ciudad invita a una experiencia más pausada, definida por una pared de posters y un techo que despliega una cuadrícula que distribuye y ordena las luminarias.
La pieza central, en cambio, ofrece un espacio de transición, probablemente la parte más relajada del local. Un pequeño reservado con una mesa baja invita a explorar diversas texturas como el esparto, la cuerda, el terciopelo o la madera. Situados estratégicamente en la zona más oscura, dos espejos enfrentados simulan una ventana con una persiana y el verde en contraste con el naranja del sofá, hacen del espacio una envolvente acogedora en la que relajarse.
