With a legacy of over 100 years, Converse updates the Chuck Taylor with high-quality materials, exquisite craftsmanship, and significantly improved comfort. It’s not about reinventing the design, but about reminding the world what has made the Chuck Taylor the most iconic and globally recognized sneaker.
Based on the Chuck Taylor All Star, these sneakers feature significant changes and details that make them unique:
A slightly wider fit, decorative stitching on the heel reminiscent of 1950s models, a stitched tongue, higher-quality metal eyelets, a leather CX insole with Nike Air cushioning, a modified toe cap, a molded rubber patch in the style of the 1960s, a modified heel logo in the style of the 1950s, thicker and higher midsole welts, beveled eyelets, laces with nickel aglets, a Vibram outsole, and a 1970s-style toe cap.

Among the selection of materials, you’ll find higher-quality canvas, premium leathers, and Jacquard fabric, and they will only be available at a few authorized retailers for around €250.
Fortunately, the First String family will continue to grow with new additions each season, so you’ll soon be able to see the new models for Spring 2026.
