Branding redesign

Previously known as an event and conference organiser, Óvalo transformed itself into a travel agency, leveraging its expertise in that field.

Without changing its name, which was already well known among its customers, it decided to redesign its brand to clearly convey its new activity at first glance.

In the collective subconscious, we all associate the idea of travel with icons such as the sun, the horizon and the silhouette of a bird flying through the sky. So we went straight to the point and, with a slight transformation of their original logo, they already had an image for their new company. Recognisable to former customers but clearly linked to the world of organised travel.

The idea is as simple as taking the original logo and cutting it out against a curved horizon—like the globe we intend to travel around—using the ‘o’ in the name as a sun rising above that horizon, over which a seagull flies, a bird that travels the seas.
